Services

Practical Consulting.
Clearer Decisions.

Bizorent provides advisory consulting to organizations that want to improve how they plan, operate and make decisions. We work alongside owners and leadership teams to understand the business, analyze what is and is not working, and develop practical recommendations that fit the organization.

What Bizorent provides

Advice you can act on.

Our services cover six connected areas: business strategy, operations, growth planning, process improvement, performance and reporting, and organizational planning. They are separate disciplines, but in practice they overlap. A question about growth often turns out to involve structure; a reporting problem frequently points back to a process.

For that reason, most engagements begin with a conversation about the problem you are trying to solve rather than a choice from a list of services. We then agree a scope that draws on the relevant areas and nothing more.

Across every engagement, the work follows the same principles: understand the organization before recommending anything, keep recommendations practical, base decisions on the best available information, and tailor the work to the business rather than applying a template.

What our work is not. Bizorent provides business consulting. We do not provide legal, tax, accounting, investment or regulated financial advice, and we do not guarantee financial results. Where those matters arise, we recommend involving appropriately qualified professionals.

Engagement formats

Scoped to what you need.

Engagements generally take one of three forms. The format, timing and fees are always agreed in writing before work starts.

01

Focused assessment

A defined review of one area — such as a key process, the reporting pack or the current structure — resulting in clear findings and prioritized recommendations.

02

Planning engagement

A more comprehensive piece of work combining analysis, leadership workshops and a written plan, typically for strategy, growth or organizational design.

03

Ongoing advisory support

Periodic sessions after a plan is agreed, to review progress, work through obstacles and adjust priorities as circumstances change.

FAQ

General questions.

How do we know which service we need?

You do not need to know in advance. Describe the situation you are dealing with and what you would like to improve, and we will suggest where to start — or tell you honestly if we think another type of adviser would serve you better.

What size of organization do you work with?

Our approach is designed for organizations where leaders are close to the business, including small and mid-sized businesses and growing organizations. The best way to check fit is a short initial conversation.

Where do you work?

Bizorent’s registered address is 8 York St, Toronto, Ontario. The location and format of meetings — in person or remote — are agreed for each engagement.

How are fees determined?

Fees depend on the scope, duration and complexity of the work. They are set out in a written proposal before any work begins, so you can decide with full information.

Do you guarantee results?

No. We do not guarantee revenue, profit or other financial outcomes. Results depend on implementation, market conditions and factors outside any consultant’s control. We commit to careful, honest and practical work.
